Last summer, I became ColorStack‘s first full-time intern. During my time there, I explored different paths in marketing such as:
Creating marketing materials for our monthly events, Fam Fridays...
Before ending my internship, I created templates of these marketing materials. In doing so, future employees would be able to use these templetes to speed up the work process.
Attendance at Fam Fridays went up 80% and we were able to reach our goal of over 150+ students each month.
In late August, ColorStack launched their first summit,
The Stacked Up Summit.
The Stacked Up Summit was a 3-day virtual expereince where Black and Latinx CS students can learn about the newest tech, gain exposure and insight into a wide variety of tech companies.
To ensure a 1000+ attendance at our summit, I created over several promotion videos to be shared on all our platforms.
I directed and edited our initial promotional video,
... and since we are a digital community, I was able to recruit several of our members to help us promote our summit within the span of two weeks.
